Start with a tasting pack

Try a few blends before ordering a large box. Brew them on the same machine with a similar amount of water. This makes it easier to discover which coffee suits you.

Mellow, bold or somewhere in between

Roasting and blend composition affect flavour. Treat descriptions such as chocolatey, fruity or bold as guidance rather than a promise. Intensity numbers are not a universal scale and do not directly tell you the caffeine content.

Decaf gets a seat at the table

Decaffeinated ESE pods are available too. Look for “decaf” or “decaffeinato” as well as the ESE format. Espresso does not have to be just a morning thing.

Keep it tasty

Store coffee somewhere dry and away from heat. Open individual wrappers just before use. For resealable bags, follow the roaster’s storage advice. Shelf life and packaging vary by brand.
